The Spaghettio Incident

Last year we tried to feed the boys Chef Boyardee Beefaroni with mixed results. You can see that experience here. A few months after that, we tried Spaghettios but met resistance when Wesley refused to eat it. We weren't sure if it was the texture, or the sauce, but we put canned Italian products on the back burner for a while.

I was in an adventurous mood, so I busted open a can of Spaghettios for lunch. I was prepared with paper towels, washcloths, Oxyclean, Spray and Wash, and low expectations. I was pleasantry surprised at the outcome.

Today's offering was Spaghettios, whole wheat Ritz with cream cheese, and sliced pears.
Jared started with something familiar and worked his way around the plate.
Wesley dug right in.
The boys don't understand the law of gravity. Everything that was on Jared's spoon ended up in his lap.
Wesley going after the "O" that got away.
"Oh look, I must have dropped some."
Overall, lunch was a success. It is always a challenge trying to find something that all three boys like to eat.
Andrew is almost a member of the clean plate club.
