After The Cake...

After the boys enjoyed their birthday cake, they headed upstairs to have a bath and get cleaned up. Once all cleaned up and dressed, they came back downstairs to visit with family. We had to say an early good-bye to our little cousin (7 months) Laura because she was not feeling well after she had a little fall earlier in the day. She was as joyful and bubbly when she was sitting still but if she was moved a little, she was in some pain. Her Mom and Dad took her home early to go to the hospital and she had a broken collar bone. Get well soon little Laura and thank you for staying long enough to see us have our cake!

Jared and his big sister Breana! Bre was visiting for Spring Break and I am not sure Jared's feet ever hit the floor. She continued to joke about taking him home with her in her luggage. When Mike left to take her to the airport, I made sure to count the boys (ha, ha). We love you Bre, hurry back.... someone needs to hold Jared, he has grown accustomed to being spoiled!

Sitting outside just "chillin'." Pooka can barely be seen sitting between Mike and Uncle Lance. Mike is holding Wes, Uncle Lance is holding Andrew and Breana is holding Jared. The boys are thinking, "it must be our birthday, we are all being held."

Our first birthday was a lot of fun! As we battled the chickenpox, I was worried that we would not make it to Grandma's to celebrate with family. However, we made it and we have memories to cherish forever as we celebrated our First Easter/First Birthday.
