Ms. Hilary's Visit

On Friday night, we were lucky enough to have a visit from our good friend, Ms. Hilary!! Ms. Hilary was in town for a training and stopped by to visit with the boys (and me). She arrived in time to play with the boys a little before bed and then read them their bedtime story. This was a great moment because our library was created by Ms. Hilary. At our baby shower, she gave us the gift of all the classic baby books. I did not truly appreciate the gift until recently when we started reading to the boys every night. It was hard to figure out how to read to the boys because they usually just want to rip at the pages. So, we now read to them once we put them in their cribs. Andrew will sometimes lay down but Jared and Wes spend the entire time bouncing, bouncing, bouncing.


Once the boys were in bed, we had time to visit. The next morning, we were awakened to the boys screaming joyfully from their nursery. They must have known they had a very fun visitor because they were ready to wake-up right at 7:30am (actually earlier).

The boys played with Ms. Hilary for the while and when she tried to get dressed, they were following her closely. Here are the boys waiting "patiently" for Ms. Hilary to emerge from her room....

Yeah... she's back!!! See Mom, a watched pot does boil!!!

While the boys were napping Ms. Hilary headed home. It was a short visit but a very nice visit. Please hurry back Ms. Hilary!!
